You'll need to use these downloadable installers to use the longer form product keys, and if you're installing the expansion you need to use the same installer format for both LoD and classic, that is, you can't use a 16 character LoD key with a 26 character classic key or vice versa. There you'll see your game key as well as a small arrow icon in the upper right to download the installer. After registering your game you can go to the summary tab and click on Diablo II. If you wish to use the long form of your product key you'll need to use the digital installers which are available from the same website. Both keys are the same license and logging in with one prevents online use of the other while you're logged into that realm. When you do, you'll get a new 26 character key. Choose this option and enter your 16 character product key to have have it registered to your account. If you click on it you'll find an option 'Add Game Key'. putting Diablo II 16 character Cd key into redeem code but does not want to work so i cant get the 26 character Cd key. From there you should see a menu option in the upper middle of the screen called 'Games and Codes'. Click on your username in the upper right and go to account settings. Go to and click the login button to login with your account (this is the new style account you use to post on the forums, not the one you play D2 with). ![]() You can register your retail keys to your account as normal.
